Chamber of Public Secrets - Alfredo Cramerotti & Khaled Ramadan - Contested Ecologies, 2004-2026, Multimedia Archive
Chamber of Public Secrets (CPS) - Khaled Ramadan & Alfredo Cramerotti - presents a concise account of how the collective has addressed environmental unrest through its curatorial work and artistic production. The project situates ecological concerns within broader social and geopolitical contexts, highlighting tensions around resource use, cultural responsibility, and institutional representation. Through podcast interviews, archival material, and site-specific interventions, CPS brings forward perspectives often absent from major art platforms. At the Nauru National Pavilion, a station operates as an archive and shared platform featuring works that examine fragile relationships between communities and their environments.
Founded in 2004, Chamber of Public Secrets (CPS) - Khaled Ramadan & Alfredo Cramerotti - is an international network of artists, curators, and writers, known for co-curated Manifesta 8, the Maldives National Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale, and a range of exhibitions, festivals, and publications.
