ENGLISH
CPS collective recalls how this collective has addressed environmental instability through curatorial work and artistic production. It places ecological issues within broader social and geopolitical contexts, highlighting tensions related to resource use, cultural responsibility, and institutional representation.
Through podcast interviews, archival materials, and site-specific interventions, CPS brings to the forefront perspectives often absent from mainstream artistic platforms. At the Nauru National Pavilion, a sculpture serves as a reminder of interrelation as a solution that is now overdue.
ITALIANO
Nei propri progetti, attraverso interviste podcast, materiali d’archivio e interventi site-specific, CPS porta in primo piano prospettive spesso assenti dalle principali piattaforme artistiche.
Sand Time
Sand Time reflects the ongoing “sand wars,” where a once-overlooked material has become a strategic global resource. Rapid construction in China and India has driven soaring demand for usable sand, intensifying extraction from rivers and coastlines.
This has led to environmental damage and fueled illegal mining. Sand now stands at the center of growing ecological and geopolitical conflict.
